Okay, so I finally went really nuts
over idiots who keep pressing that share button, without fully understand and
fully seek for the truth of the news. I don’t know what drive them to do that. I
see that some desperate (and when I say
desperate, it’s actually me playing it soft over saying stupid) what is so
called Journalist write and spread these kind of news for money, but what you
guys ? what are you looking for ? LIKES ? RETWEETS ? are you that desperate (and when I say desperate, it’s actually me
playing it soft over saying stupid) of a little acknowledgement in your
life that you would do anything for it ?
Are you ?
Am I ?
Okay, so maybe you think that, this
kind of news, everybody should know, this is very important for their life. So without
further ado, without first seeking for the truth, you HIT THAT SHARE BUTTON !

I may have play it really hard this
time, well it’s because I’m angry (as always,
like Dr.Banner’s secret) that I really want to kick some ass with these
words. I remember one time I posted one of the best idea of my life in
facebook, and it says,
“Unfortunately, in facebook there is
just poke facility. I wished there was Kick, it’s pretty good you know, to be
sent to those who share news and long status updates like they are the smartest,
the wisest, and the people of the year. It’s like, Hendro Prasetyo just send
you a Kick. A notification that shows up when your smart-(but not smartly used) -phone suddenly vibrates and sends impulses
that your brain translates as a sensation of a kick.”

It was on 27th July, it’s
like five months ago. I remember that was the months of election where fanboys
from each side went on a sharing spree over news of both candidates. I was
about to feel happy that those times finally over, and I thought that facebook
will get back to place where people write on each other’s wall, sharing their
shitty love life, and upload their super selfie. I was about to sing the happy
song and dance the happy dance, but then I was wrong ! It went worse !!!
Now, people share everything like
they’re the know it all. Religions, politics, health, idiocy, every little
kinds of thing that they believe will be useful to the life of the society,
they share. So, thank you ?
I know that it’s your birth right to
share everything your ass wants in the social media, and you shall use that. But,
before you do that, please be a dear and seek for the truth first. And, be the dearest
by considering this first before the first,
There are zillions of hoax and
irresponsible news, posts and thoughts here in cyber world. So please do care
what you share. If you don’t understand completely about it, don’t ! just don’t
!
If you’re not a doctor, or a medical
researcher, do not ever share anything about health, because you sure don’t
understand about it. If you’re not a master of tafsir, don’t youd are share
anything regarding religions, you can mislead someone else. And don’t get me
start on politics, even politicians don’t understand the hell they’re doing. They
just went straight to senayan, sit their ass off on a million worth chair that
they cheated the prices on, and do dafuq they want. Gossiping, sleep, scream
their lungs out over what they so called the sounds of people, texting,
sexting, watching porn, and God knows what else.
The point is, if you’re not
something you are, don’t try to be smart by sharing things you think will be
useful to someone else. What you think, is not always the right thing. Again,
you can mislead someone else.

I think it’s enough that we have
people like Arya Wiguna and Vicky Prasetyo went big and public over their
idiocy, isn’t it ? So please people, do care what you want to share. I don’t
know since when we become a country where we debate over saying Merry Christmas
in social media, a country that is so scary that we won’t let loose a little
mistake people do that we mass bully them here in cyber world.

I mean where does our tolerance go ?
I believe it’s not wrong to just say a little congratulations to those who
celebrate and happy, but in the opposite, I think it’s really wrong to
mass-bully those who made a little mistake in their life.
At last, I just want to say that I know
that it’s really tempting to hit that share button. And just like what I’ve
mentioned, you have every birth right to do that. But then again, please do
care what you share. Because Sharing, is not always Caring.
